Peace at last

As I already mentioned Eve has a really hard time with her tummy at times, in fact she just started squirming and squealing in her sleep before farting and dozing back off.
There is one failsafe to cheer her up when boobies or sling walks don’t help.

I lay her down on her change table and ask “where are Evie’s butterflies?” So far this has never failed to elicit calm staring and often smiles are she stares up at the butterfly mobile.

I would love another to go above her cradle, another on the pram, another on the car seat, well you get the picture. Maybe a cork hat for her with the corks replaced with butterflies?

It is fabulous for keeping her happy during changes but I’d love to have somewhere that she’s happy to be put down for more than 2 minutes at a time. Somewhere safe for me to leave her anyway seeing I can’t walk away and leave her on the change table.

For now I’ll be happy that we at least have one peaceful spot thanks to the Flutter mobile in Mono from Made by Mosey.

  1. What a bright little human being she is:) One thing that Sienna loved to look at was a switch of eucalyptus or peppermint tree leaves. I just used to grab some from a local tree and stick it above her pram or her car seat (sometimes using some gaffa tape to hold it in) and she would love the movement and the sound of them…Yes I carried gaffa tape in my baby bag…was mandatory when I realised how much Sienna was settled by the leaves and much cheaper than buying mobiles or toys for each area she was in:)

  2. Wow! I rarely get to see the mobiles I make in action!! This is such a treat, thank you!I am so glad Eve is enjoying the butterflies. She is such a beautiful little lady…and what a lovely space you have here.
Thanks for donating too. Good luck! Mads xxx

    • Thanks. I’m so glad you’re happy to see the mobile, it really has been a life saver. I love all of your pieces.Thank you for the motivation to donate, I’m going to make it a regular thing.

  3. It sounds like Eve and Everly are long-lost soul sisters! Everly does exactly the same thing – squirming and farting in her sleep, sometimes even crying out loud while fast asleep! I was at a friend’s house and used her change table and Everly loved the mobile hanging overhead. I really must get something to hang over our change area at home. Thanks for the reminder 🙂
